boat names

ok, when I named our boat in 2003, I felt it was one of a kind not to mention that I think being on your boat in beautiful lake cumberland IS ones self medication. However, I either get the question "Are you a pharmacist" or those "knowing" looks like I am a drug addict or something. What do you all think? was this a poor choice? how did y"all come up with your boat names? My next boat will be a cruiser and I was thinking "Self Medicated Again" but I am not so sure. I hate for people to think I dealing crack from my boat! I have never even seen hard drugs let alone thinking of using. I am a soccer/b-ball mom and a revenue integrity manager....never crossed my mind people would think about drugs. ok, it crossed my mind as I am in the medical field but those who know me know that bourbon is my drug of choice which is legal.

If ur not experiencing issues with the authorities thus far with your current boat and you like the name why not? Who cares what anyone thinks about something like that.

My boat name was actaully thought up my my innocent lil wife... She made the mistake of coming up with it in front of me and there is it now in big print... Her dad does not care much about the name but really the name although racy was really only about our favorite time of the year when we get to take the tarp I keep on the boat in the shed off and we know lake time has arrived.

First time I saw Hillmans boat name I thought of a hot little outfit that use to live in Russell Springs and drove a convertable Mustang, her front license plate said, "crusin' topless". BTW her dad didnt like it either.

To hell with what anyone else thinks. I came up with DOCKTERS OARDERS because Kasie is a nurse and takes "doctors orders", sorta kinda. And I like the spelling.

Yeah, your boat, your name. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. My first boat was Courts Decision because my ex wanted "shared custody" of the boat and the judge thought that was a joke and gave it to me!! People always asked if one of us was a judge or something!! LOL!!

PontoonOnSteroids came from by brother-in-law after Dave told him we'd bought a pontoon. When he saw the boat he said "Pontoon my a$$, that's a pontoon on steroids!" After we stopped cracking up laughing, we decided that was the name!!!
