Mortgage rates

Post by LC addict »

So what rates are you finding and where? My son has a 4.6275 conv. loan locked for 30 yrs with one company, but the sellers dont want to close until 4/22 to get in their new house. We would have time to go elsewhere and lock the rate if rates are lower somewhere...just a thought.....any mortgage loan folks out there??

We did a refinance in Feb., bought a point and got 4.375% I'm sure things change daily, but it was with Countrywide. I stopped being loyal to banks once they started selling my mortgages.

We just closed on our new house a month ago and that's right about where ours is too.

The condo we sold was financed a few years ago at a higher rate on a 20 year mortgage. The condo we still have is on a 10 year note and it's around 6% but that one will be paid off in a few years. That will be a great day! :ymparty:

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

I made some calls today, I guess he's going to stay put where he is at 4.625 for 30yrs, someone told me there was 4.25-4.5 out there but I couldn't find it...but 4.625 is lower than what we got 20 yrs. ago!
