How to Screw the rich and F--K the POOR

Post by Dolphin »

Josephine Co., Or. http://www.freedomslighthouse.com/2009/ ... get-direct...

Here is video of White House Budget Director Peter Orszag appearing on This Week with George Stephanopoulos yesterday, where he admitted - grudgingly - that President Obama's plans for a "Cap and Trade" Policy on carbon emissions will increase energy costs for all Americans!

They will probably have the votes to do this, and this just may be the point at which Americans begin to turn on Obama. Once prices of electricity and other forms of energy begin to rise, the impact of Obama's leadership will begin to be felt in practical ways. Orszag did everything he could to not admit that energy prices will rise, but give Stephanopoulos credit for pursuing him on it until he had to.

California coming YOUR way

Not surprising considering how business unfriendly California has become in recent years. The high taxes and high cost of living make it a very expensive place to be in business. Add to that the fact it is a closed shop state and has regulations in place that are onerous on business (ie all the different types of paid leave you are required to give employees) and there should be no one who is surprised to see companies fleeing to more business friendly states like Texas (silicone valley south etc).

What was even more interesting, if you click on the link to see why headline unemployment is not a real number you find that true unemployement is 13,9%. As they state, these numbers have been massaged for years for political reasons. Must make the Obama croud cringe to start seeing Carter like numbers now that they are in charge. If yo check the charts, it all started about the time the Reid-Pelosi crowd took over Congress.

Maybe this is a way to force "conservation".... make our Americans realize how wasteful we really are. /:)

I am a firm believer that no new businesses (large buildings, offices, etc) should be built without some sort of solar energy, either get a tax break for it or pay extra without it...

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

Katie has a point.
Buy American, the job you save just might be your own.
