WTF! Obama pledges U.S. support for Libya

Post by Nervous Wreck »

snip:

Vice President Joe Biden noted that the U.S. role in the campaign cost no more than $2 billion and that no American lives were lost, saying: "This is more a prescription about how we ought to deal going forward.

"We do not have to do it ourselves. ... The NATO alliance worked like it was designed to do," Biden told CNN's Candy Crowley in New Hampshire, calling Gadhafi "one bad guy. This was real burden sharing."

According to figures from the Pentagon and State Department, the total bill as of September 30 for the U.S. role in the Libya campaign was about $1.3 billion.

I think it is WAY past time we offer "our services and support" to these countries in exchange for OIL !! That or cough up some bucks instead of us giving them billions! X( Don't ya think?

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

I somewhat agree thought it sure was nice seeing several Libyians waving American flags on TV. That is something you don't see on our own soil by Americans.
Buy American, the job you save just might be your own.
