What was your worst Christmas gift ever?

Post by LC addict »

I thought this might be entertaining....

.......I think the worst Christmas gift I got was a few yrs ago when my dear husband just handing me cash for Christmas....Don't get me wrong, I love to spend money but a little effort would have been nice ...geesh! So if anyone sees John out before Christmas you might want to remind him that diamonds are a girls best friend ;)

:-B This is probably gonna sound really dorky but I honestly don't remember ever receiving a bad Christmas present. I've always approached gift receiving as "it's the thought that counts". I guess I learned from a very early age to be appreciative of whatever I received. My older sister, on the other hand, was what I would call a gift bit$h! No matter what she got, she bit$hed. I always felt badly for my parents or anyone else who tried to please her. :(

See how sweet I really am! O:-)

How about the almost worst one to come?? This year my brother and Mother were thinking about getting me career counseling to help me find a job!! While I understand the concern, I don't think having someone tell me what I already know is money well spent. Just give me the money!!! I like cash!!

Okay...here goes...before Big Floppy and I were married...he gave me one of those stupid Rumba vacuum's for Christmas! (sorry honey...but I had to tell!) I was NOT happy! We took it back promptly and got something else! He's done a great job at getting jewelry and other frivolous things for me since then!!

My ex-husband gave me a de-humidifier once for Christmas for my basement...notice, he's my EX husband...course, I got the gift too before we were married and I married him anyway! what an idiot!

That was a funny video! Great marketing. Hey E, do you have one of those "big" dog houses in your back yard? It's not too late to exchange that present, unless you had her name put on it #-o (that worried smiley is a dead giveaway /:) )

I truly don't care for "gifts", I get more enjoyment out of giving.... I have tried to explain this many years. By the time you reach our age, you have most of the chit you want anyway or you realize it's just stuff.

My favorite gift lasts the whole month! Help with the house cleaning, help with the christmas shopping, less stress, yeah, that's what i'm talkin 'bout :-*

That's a GREAT gift! Does your dad really enjoy them, or just go along with mama because she does? I tried to get pappaw to go with me, says he wouldn't enjoy it. That part is probably true, there would be no TV'S allowed!

I would have to say the worst gift I got ended up being the best gift I've ever gotten!! =))

My ex-husband left me and the kids for my best friend and her kids at Christmas time! It turned out to be a blessing, but at the time it wasn't so great!! The kids were 5 and 8, I was only making $7.00 a hour and we had to sell the house. B@st@rd!
