HEY GUYS! POST YOUR PICS HERE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM. Since I didn't get to head souf this weekend.

Lake Cumberland sews up a recordExactly 1,651 boats gathered and tied up Saturday on Lake Cumberland and broke the Guinness World Record for the largest boat tie-up, said Mike Janela, official on-site judge for the event.

A certificate was presented to officials with the Lake Cumberland Association following a count by air and by water, Janela said. The previous record included 1,454 boats. Guidelines for the record category stipulate that all participating boats must be connected together in a single line for at least one minute and have at least one person on board during this minute.

The picture doesn't quite represent the number of people in the water between the boats and stage when the band was playing but everyone was respectful of everyone's space and had a great time together. When the lines broke up at the end, I was amazed at how smoothly they broke up and dispersed. With the exception of poor Susie having her boat set adrift before she got back to it. :-?

800x600 or 1024x768 seem to work for most.

I have a image resizer that you can install to your computer. It is located at:
http://www.lakecumberlandboaters.com/fi ... orWindows/

There is a 64 bit and 32(x86) bit version of it...

Then when you want to resize a picture you just right click on the picture or a group of selected pictures and select the size you want. it will resize the pictures by making copies of them and leave your big ones alone.

Cool, is that in Northern Kentucky? My family at one point were many there and in Cincinnati. Of course on dad's farm there is a cabin from around 1795 that was built by family... Or was it Akron or was it far western KY or Martha's Vineyard? All those are spots they were (not to mention Hillman Michaigan) or maybe even Colombus... lol.

I have been doing a lot of family history stuff so that is interesting.
My family started in Germany (Heilman) and around Germany then several in the 1400s or before somehow ended up in England and some other close related family from Germany moved to France around the 1600s then magically many around the 1500s-1700s came together in Martha's Vineyard with some heading to New York and many continuing on to settle land in KY (then virginia) Michigan, and the Carolinas. Basically if you know a Hillman some how they are related to me or were a former slave that stayed with the family at a certain point in US history.
