Didn't think I would ever say this on a forum but GO MICHIGAN! lol He makes a great case. Fellow Kentuckians I would also like to point out that Mr. Whitfield appears to be absent during such a important discussion.. :-? Ihope he was only in the bathroom :-w

I don't know how to post a pic from an email, but you can read what it says. In the picture are are those folks using a laptop. On thier screens are Facebook, baseball, 2 are playing solitar. None of them are listining to what is being said. However we are footing the price for this debate to go on forever. Maybe E can post the picture as I sent it to him.
THEY CAN'T READ THE BILLS THEY VOTE ON BUT THEY CAN PLAY SOLITAIRE AND CHECK BASEBALL BALL SCORES ...!
Nothing else need to be said. This is one of their THREE DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for. I am ready to start from the beginning by voting out all elected officials and not letting any of them stay in office for more than two terms. No more lifelong healthcare, retirement, voting in their own pay raises, taking perks on our taxes, etc.

House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr., R-Norwalk, pictured standing, far right, speaks while colleagues Rep. Barbara Lambert, D-Milford and Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, D-Bridgeport, play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on a new budget. (AP)

The guy sitting in the row in front of these two.... he's on Facebook, and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out the baseball scores.

These are the folks that can't get the budget out by Oct. 1, Seriously!!!
So, we’ve got a 30 day budget extension. Well, guess what, 30 days from now we will be in the same boat. I guess this makes it easy for the news ‘reporters’ as all they have to do is recycle the same headlines from this week and from 2 years ago. And these yo-yo’s will still be playing SOLITAIRE!!!

Yup...what he said. Sure wish it were easy to do.
We need to get the voting publics attention!!!

I'm gonna make Spare learn, Spare - open up the e-mail right click on the picture and see if it will let you save the picture as and then save it. If not just right click on the picture and choose copy. Then open Microsoft Paint from your accessories list in the programs menu and paste it there and then save it as a jpeg file.

LOL

Katie, go watch Jeff flip around in his chair and throw a fit. LOL

Not just that............did you ever catch the action on the cable congress channel? No one is ever at work. In a room built for 400 you may see 10-20 on a given day. Writing books, giving lectures, touring the world, having dinners, attending DC social events are a way of life. I agree. Start from scratch. We did this to ourselves. We can undo it. Two term maximum. Same health care. No life time salary. Must attend work every day. Progress reports given to constintuants twice a year at local townhall meetings. Par down per-diems to fit current economy. Lay off as many congressmen and senators to match current unemployment levels, currently 16%. [435 congress - 70 have to go home. 100 senators - 16 have to go home. This alone would save tons of money].
