Fall cruise...

Post by LC addict »

Saturday's forecast is High of 62, and Sunday hight of 63, I was thinking I may take a fall boatride/cruise which we usually do every year, but so far the weather on the wknds hasn't cooperated. Do you all think its too late to see any fall colors on the trees? I know I"ve missed peak wknd...but a little color is better than none!

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

Let's make it a little longer than a short cruise. Especially if the sun is out. Pack a cooler, crank some toons, and enjoy the day! Let's kick it.

Ya know it is tempting to unwinterize Goin Tarpless... Rewinterizing since I won't rechange the oil should only take about 20 minutes.

If I can get the wife to go I might just do it. Most likely east side only though.

Ahhh....the way it use to be. No tourist to dodge, no 40 ft. white caps, no traffic at ramp. Priceless.
