Roughly 853 people world wide and close 1 plant...probably Juarez, Mexico and move its operations to either India or the Philipines.

Question? Why is Lexmarks #27 color cartridge cost $28 when you can buy a new Lexmark printer z611 with #27 color cartridge for $34 at Wallyworld?

Well I'm not sure if it is still true but they were not shipping full cartridges years ago when I was in development. THey were "starter" cartridges.

I have a Lexmark all-in-one. Have to 'float a loan' every time I by ink for the dang thing!

AFAIK, they are still starter cartridges. That's how Lexmark makes its money on the "low end" inkjet printers...through supplies.
