Embedding Youtube VIds in posts

See below for youtube conversation

Not sure if I will go through all the forums and add this or not but this must be new functionality we gained when we moved the forum and updated the software.

Look at the bottom of the thread. You can now reply in this forum (General Talk) by typing in the box and hitting reply instead of hitting post reply and then typing and then submitting. You have less functions but if you just want to reply the ability is there now.

Maybe over time I will take the time to put this in other forums.

Embedded Youtube videos. All you have to do is put the Video ID (the part after "v=" in the link) inbetween . For example, the YouTube link for the video above is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_axLoYlwwmU, so you would put "_axLoYlwwmU" (without quotes) inbetween .

JP can you fix the youtube button to do that automatically? If you notice you or I had started on it before and we have the button in the tools if you use the "post reply" button to post but it just puts in the post.

That's how it's supposed to be. You just need to put the video ID in between the tags.
