Mine was pretty good!
First 4 miles there was about 6" of snow and no ice. (no problem)
next 10 miles about 4" of snow with ice under it. ( a little slick but not a big deal)
Brief period of 2" snow with very slick glass like ice
About 1 mile from the edge of Lexington at Iron Works pike I hit slushy cleared road and all the way to New Circle and then for some dang reason Newtown Pike from there to main street was snow packed.
However it was still no big deal since I only saw a few cars on my way in and there were no incidents. No stupid people, it was great. From now on I need to make sure I always beat the salt/scraper trucks... LOL
Looks like tonight might give us a little more:
Tonight-Freezing rain and rain with a low near 30.
Tomorrow-Cloudy with the wintry mix continuing and highs in the mid 30s.

we are now - but not too bad - just a little sleet and it's just stinkin' cold...
Re: SOoo, how was your commute and morning weather? 12-16-08
Not bad at all. Slept in until about 10. Put the Jeep in 4wd and cruised on in. Not much traffic out, which was nice.

At 9:00AM on our commute to a local restaurant for a liesurely breakfast with friends, we did encounter 67 degree temps and a little fog. Oh, and there was a little white sand in the parking lot! Other than that, no problems. Thanks for asking!

Not bad at all. A slight drizzle and about 40 degrees. The lake area didn't get squat.
Keyboards should be equipped with breathalyzers

I'd rather have the snow.re3too wrote:At 9:00AM on our commute to a local restaurant for a liesurely breakfast with friends, we did encounter 67 degree temps and a little fog. Oh, and there was a little white sand in the parking lot! Other than that, no problems. Thanks for asking!
