9/11 Muslim Mosque/Memorial in Pennsylvania?

I am wondering.... if Muslims truly believe that 9/11 terrorists were NOT acting in the religion, why do they feel the need to build "memorial mosques" at the sites of the attacks? This is the first I have heard of the "memorial" going up in a crescent shape at the site of the plane crash in Shanksville, PA. :-o :-\

I guess NY just garnered more attention :( :-s
