This house that burned is just a couple of blocks from our new house, and Kasie was her nurse in the ER before she was transported to the burn unit in Louisville. She ran through flames barefoot to save a 5 yr old boy she is a nanny for. I don't mind telling you that Kasie and I shed a few tears when she told me the story when she got home from work. This girl is a true hero.

Wow ___, that makes the story feel a lot closer to home when it touches on of our members.
Buy American, the job you save just might be your own.

The rumor is she is going to be on the Ellen show for a taping soon. She has no insurance and Kasie was telling me everytime Ellen has someone on the show she gives them a bunch of money. Sounds like her hospital bills will be taken care of most likely. Not sure why she was uninsured. I thought nanny's made pretty good money. Oh well.
