I can't wait to see some boats and see everyone... The winter I am sure is getting to all of us about now. (I like winter I just miss warm open waters)

Several of us plan to meet up at the Cardinal Cafe that is on the backside of the Expo Center grounds between 12 and 1 PM before going to the show...


If you are staying at the Crowne here are the directions from the hotel to the Cafe and back to the Center. (I'm not sure but it actually may be shorter than the directions show if they let you enter the grounds thru the entrance across from the Cafe` (LC Addict do you know?)
(If the hotel shuttle is anything like most of the hotels I have stayed at it might take you from the hotel to the cafe and then to the show as well) ...beware however about the hotel shuttle as it stops running after a certain time at night as many of us found out once before.

For you facebook junkies we have a group going on there as well to be able to see faces and names of who is showin...

I plan on being there solo. Of course all my plans are subject to change right up to the last second, without notice. I just try to live FOR and IN the moment. You never know what's going to happen 5 minutes from now.

So far as planned, we will meet at the Cardinal tween 12 & 1. I don't know if I'm gonna allow pappaw in the boat show, or at least take all plastics and ID away from him first....

We won't be able to make it this year but I called about rooms and I can get them for $52 plus tax since I'm part of The LakeCumberlandBoaters.

I'll be there but it looks like it may be 1:30 or so before I get there. Looking forward to meeting a few more of ya.

Thats 11 thus far if I counted right...

I went ahead and called Cardinal Cafe today and they let me make a reservation without a specific number....I just told them 15-20, but if the numbers go up higher than that she has us in the back where there are extra booths. (The party rooms were already booked, but i figured that would be the case)

The reservation is for 12:30 pm...under McCarty. For those coming later we will be easy to find... straight back when you walk in the door there is a large table surrounded by booths.

Thanks LC, we'll be there if the Lord's willin and the creek don't rise!

If you have not voted please do so in case LC needs to change anything. Of course I am staring to think the way she has it planned it does not matter since she got an area with plenty of extra seats.

We can have the tourist guiode's table, looks like she won't need many.

Brice and Melinda are coming, but they are not likely to make it to the Cafe. Steve and Vikki are also coming along with Steve's brother and wife (I assume). I don't know if they are going to the Cafe either. I will talk to them all this evening and will either call you, email you, post on here, on FB... or all of the above! Some how I will let you know.

That is the plan. Of course a lot of well laid plans go to heck in a hand basket. It is Saturday and I am on the Maker's right now so... I would like to be on the road pointed North around 8:30 in the AM. Also we have to drop the dogs off at my parents and they are South of here a couple of miles. The wife is still quite gimpy and that will be a bit of a test. I am going to try and find her a "chair" to help. Of course if everyone else is going back to the show I will go too. I am so flexible I would call myself Gumby if my friend Jeff B. had not already grabbed that moniker. I have your phone number and I think you have mine. I will give you a yell.

aye aye sir. I'll see youz sometime tomorrow. I don't plan on getting up until about 11. Then to the cafe, show. I'm sure the short bus will give you a lift back ifn't ya want. But as it's been said, the show is pretty lame so we'll can just play it by ear. Is there a tournament set up or just random for the c-hole?

Tournament?!? Now that is funny. I can barely spell coeprn whole! Hey, Suzy has experience with Corn Hole tournaments. She only had to re-do the brackets like 37 times and that was wih my drunk a$$ interfering! She will set it up!

Think about it, 4 cokes at the Cafe, that huge one at the show, and a refill or two on it by you at the after party and then I went to the bar and had a couple more...

For someone that does not consume caffeine that is a lot. And the after affects are worse than any hang over as you can't even sleep.
