I must be too old, cause its too loud

Post by DMS »

Other than the Super Bowl, I HATE tv advertisments. Aint nothing makes me change channels quicker. Is it just me or has television ads gotten really LOUD? Doesn't matter if its "My name is Earl" or CMA awards, I cant even hear my wife speak during breaks...light bulb turning on...never mind, I love commercials!

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.

I believe the commercials are louder than the program itself. Of course if you are under about 35 you are close to being extremely hearing impaired anyway. :-? With music so loud it not only vibrates the ear drum but also your skin, the walls, the windows, etc, with the reccomended safe hearing distance of about 100 yards.:)) :)) No offense to those here that are in that age bracket. My therory is the commercials are intended for this age group, hence the loudness. =)) =)) By the way a bill or law was recently passed that will prohibit the commercials from being louder than the program, when it will be implemented that is another question. :-\

I know of a couple of boats that I would install this item on free of charge. If it would work on their sound systems. :))
