In October 2006, just before the mid-term election which left control of congress in the hands of extreme left Democrats, I released a warning column title When 51-49 becomes 49-51. In 2006, this seismic political shift started and by 2008, the nation had forever changed. 51-49 had become 49-51…

For decades, America had been teetering on the tipping point between right and wrong, political right and left, American and anti-American leadership. Decisions made by the federal government had been highly partisan for some years, and even the American system of justice was no longer blind to race, creed, gender, economic or social status. The courts had become just another political tool for affecting “progressive” change.

5-4 or 51-49 decisions had become common place in a nation clearly, hopelessly divided.

Many have pontificated, with political purpose, about the root causes of that division. But an honest assessment of the division will reveal only one significant difference between the left and the right, the anti-American and the American.
Taxpayers vs. Thieves via Mob Rule

According to the IRS, as of the 2006 federal tax reports, 97.01% of all federal taxes collected are paid by the top 50% of income earners in the nation. The bottom 50% of income earners pay only 2.99% of the federal tax haul, most paying nothing at all or getting “tax refunds” for taxes they never paid to begin with.

The break point is only $32,000 annual income. Below this income you are considered too poor to pay taxes, and above this income, you are one of “the rich” who is expected to pick up the tab for the half of the country that do not pay taxes.

Half of the nation (the greedy), pay for the other half of the nation, (the cheated.)

This item alone is what divides America today and it is the only significant difference between the political right which represents the taxpayers, and the political left which panders only to those who have come to believe that they are entitled to the earnings and private property of others.

Until 2006, the majority of voters were taxpayers. As of 2006, and for the foreseeable future, the majority of voters are thieves in search of access to other people’s money and property. That is what decided the 2006 and 2008 elections and what will keep leftist progressives in national power for the next generation or two…
The New American Minority

46% of Americans voted against the new “progressive” rush into unbridled secular socialism in the 2008 election. Had Republicans not governed like Democrats since 2004, and had they put forth a serious presidential candidate in 2008, this number would have been much larger.

Still, even with the weakest candidate since Bob Dole in 1996, nearly half of the nation voted against the leftist government now in charge. That’s hardly a “mandate” for drastic “change.”

But more importantly, this 46% represent the “taxpayers” of America, the folks who pick up the tab for all the nonsense and waste that is our federal government today.

They are now outnumbered by the people in search of access to their earnings and assets, all of whom showed up at the polls in record numbers to give Marxists the power to take property from “the greedy” and redistribute those assets to “the cheated.”

Those seeking “free-stuff” from the earnings of others, now rule over those who pay 97.01% of the federal tab already.
A Generational Shift

In the first few weeks of leftist mob rule, the rules of the game have been entirely rewritten to favor the new political majority for the foreseeable future.

# House Speaker Nancy Pelosi immediately rewrote House debate rules that had provided proper legislative checks and balances for more than a hundred years. The first piece of House legislation passed without a single Republican vote, opposed by even a dozen moderate Democrats.
# Obama signed executive orders reversing a multitude of vital Republican policies, against the better judgment of most Americans who opposed most of those changes.
# The White House has now grabbed control of the census, for purpose of manipulating redistricting across the country, to the voting advantage of the new majority.
# Congress will pursue and likely pass some version of a “stimulus” package which will only stimulate government control over private property.
# They will pursue and pass some version of the “Fairness Doctrine” at talk radio and the internet, which aims to silence the last voice of pro-American dissent against the left, which is in full control of the main stream press.
# They will pursue and pass some version of gun control, which will only take weapons out of the hands of honest citizens, who are only a threat to those who threaten them.
# They will also pursue and pass true “amnesty” for over 20 million illegal invaders and welcome another 20 million family members not yet here, all of whom will be very grateful to Democrats at election time, for years to some.

When Democrats are finished redistricting, silencing talk radio and “hate speech” on the internet, paying off proletariat voters with gifts from the public trough, removing guns from the homes of decent citizens, rubber stamping 20 million new Democrat voters via amnesty for illegals and threatening every American with a bread line existence as a result of their failed efforts to “stimulate” the economy, taxpayers will not have the power to win a national election for at least the next generation.
Taxpayers, the New American Minority is Screwed!

To be honest, they deserve it though…

Not because they are “greedy.” It’s hard to define those who pick up the tab for the entire nation as “greedy.”

They deserve it because they too voted for it! They bought hook, line and sinker into Obama’s moderate sounding campaign rhetoric and completely ignored all of the well publicized facts regarding the most far left freshman member of the US Senate…

Obama’s entire history foretold of the evils to come if such an individual would somehow, amazingly, foolishly, be allowed to become president. But American voters, including many taxpayers, ignored everything and voted for this bunch of leftist losers.

Now they must pay the price!
Current Public Sentiment

After the election and inauguration, the public finally started paying attention to some important details concerning Obama’s idea of “change.”

It took only one week of detailed reports concerning Nancy Pelosi’s socialist spending spree to change an 80% public approval rating for the leftist stimulus package that emerged from the very partisan House, into a 70% disapproval rating, once the public read the fine print.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 44% of Americans agree with Obama and 41% do not. Obviously, 44% think they stand to get a cut of the socialist pie and 41% expect to pick up the tab for the entire pie.

Rasmussen reports, “There is a huge partisan divide on the question. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Democrats agree with the president’s insistence that failure to pass a bill now means catastrophe, while 64% of Republicans do not. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 32% say Obama’s right, but 51% don’t agree (see crosstabs).”

A partisan divide - There’s a real shocker, huh?

According to Rasmussen, “A plurality of women agree with the president while a plurality of men disagree. Those who earn less than $40,000 a year lean in Obama’s direction while those who earn $60,000 to $100,000 lean the other way. By a 47% to 40% margin, investors reject the notion that inaction will lead to catastrophe.”

In other words, taxpayers oppose those who plan to rob them of their hard earned property. Imagine that!

I had high hopes Obama would do good for all. I still have a little hope but I have to admit the moves in the past month sure to point to things becoming VERY bad for those of us that like to live free and also have some morals. And the one that scares me the most is Pelosi... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if the devil is a woman I think she is it...
