I just got this bit of info from one of my trucking companies...


France Strikes
As workers protest against pension reforms in France, cargo that is moving into France, both ocean and air freight is being affected and some ports and airports have been blockaded.
Shipping lines are not currently taking any bookings for Full Container Load (FCL) shipments and some Less than Container Load (LCL) cargo is stuck in ports in France.
There is no public transport, trains have been delayed or cancelled.
We apologise for the inconvenience and will keep you updated on this situation.

They are mostly young kids, trying to help the parents not to lose thier SS. They have forgotten that not that long ago the age was 65, then it was lowered to 60. With folks living longer it is just like here, they are running out of funds. The gov wants to raise the age to 61 or 62 to offset the loss. Fox said this morning that the US could see these riots if the gov don't get a handle on things. Trains, planes and autos are out of gas and the city is almost to a standstill. Planes cannot get fuel so flights are being cancelled. What would our great leader do if this happened here? Or what would Pelosi say or do?

The poles this morning say that the GOP is going strong and are set to take over the house, it is going to be close for the senate. FOLKS MAKE SURE YOU VOTE IN JUST 11 DAYS. I hope you all vote out the incumbant that got us into this mess.

IMO the Reps AND Dems aint to blame...its the American people. What ever happened to,"hell no we wont go" stuff instead of dropping our little heads, tucking our little tails and doing what were told. This country is or should I say was built on revolt. If we didnt like it we raised hell bout it but no more. You WILL wear your seatbelt, you WILL pay $3 a gallon for fuel, you WILL ___________(fill in blank) and like it. Period.

The French They wouldnt even be French if we didnt tell them they could be...or somebody telling us we could tell them.

I vote EVERY time just as a tribute to the men and women who provided me that freedom, but its the only time we make our voices heard. The other 3 yrs we do as were told. Socialism ???

Denmark, we need to sink all the ships that bring in the Chinese crap. We need a fair tax on what is brought in. 47% of my business is export. Some countries charge over 60% tax to get it in. We on the other hand charge little or nothing for the same country to bring thier goods in the US. WTF is wrong with this picture?
