This is my son Shawn's girlfriend Sara, she has won a contest through KFC and will now be commissioned to paint a portrait of the Colonel that will hang in the main headquarters next to a portrait that Norman Rockwell painted of him. Also at the end of the story there is a link to her gallery.

I live just a few miles from a house the Colonel used to live in. In fact I went to hugh school with a girls who lived there. So I can say I've kicked it at the colonel's chicken ranch.

You have to admit this is impressive, her portrait of Colonel Sanders will hang next to Norman Rockwell's! I am so excited for her! She is VERY talented. If anyone has thought of having a family portrait done, she can do it, check out her website, knowing how long it takes her to do a portrait I think her prices are reasonable. If you look at her gallery, the pic of Katherine Hepburn, Clark Gable and Jimmy Stewart was one she did for Shawn for Valentines day last year, it is a scene from one of his favorite movies.
