Re: Cardinals in the Courts
I can hear 'em now "DON'T TASE ME BRO'"
Pitino "“Any time you defy a police officer, it's serious. They will be punished and they are being punished right now. But no, they will not miss game time.”
No charges had been filed as of late Thursday. Jeffersonville Police had asked that Jennings, 20, and Smith, 22, be charged with battery to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. The latter charge is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a maximum fine of $5,000.
I can see it now, "Your honor, instead of the work release program can we have the basketball release program?"
Are they going to put up a hoop in their jail cell so they can practice?

How true, if Pitino can get away with his crap why can't his players?_____ wrote:Just goes to show, even off the court, we will BEAT YO A S S. Gotta taze us to stop us. Take note kitten fans.
How about a friendly bet on the game this year? Case of beer (winner's choice) to the winner.

That's like free money. Please let me know if you find any takers. I would be willing to put up much more than a case of beer.

I figure rope him in with a case of beer and then escalate from there. Think he'll take it?crwky wrote:That's like free money. Please let me know if you find any takers. I would be willing to put up much more than a case of beer.

Re: Cardinals in the Courts
I think you can go back and look ___. Faster, myself and Boat Racer have been fans through it all.
I have had season tickets the last two years so I think you are bad wrong on that Card Fan! Now this year I had to let my tickets go because they went up so much due to the fair weather fans. I wish they would all go crawl back in the hole they were hiding in.

Re: Cardinals in the Courts
University of Louisville basketball players Terrence Jennings and Jerry Smith pleaded guilty Monday to resisting law enforcement and were given one-year suspended prison sentences and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.
Imagine that, no time and 40 hours of community service. I bet the service will be talking to their teammates about not beating up their fans and alumni.

Re: Cardinals in the Courts
Wow the Courier really messed up that story. They were given one yr "probabtion", not suspended prison sentence. Come on now, you know Pitino is behind this, trying to get the spotlight off of him and onto someone else for a while.
