"WE the People"

Post by Nervous Wreck »

Where/when did these three words get lost in our constitution and daily lives? Our government has become a 'power within'! X( What gives them the right to vote themselves in anything? That is our (We The People) job. Look what it has gotten us, like the presidential cabinet! :( What a joke!

It is time for us (We the People) to take 'OUR' power back. Just think about what has been going on for the past 20 years. We have been slowly losing our grip on our 'own' politicians. (government) THEY' should live within the same 'standards' as us common folk. After all, they chose their occupation...didn't they. They sure make a hell of lot more money than I do. If I take a job in another state, the 'taxpayers' don't pay me for an 'extra 'residence'!

When I say same standards, I mean retirement, health care, everything. They should not be able to vote themselves in a pay raise or anything. That is our (We the People) job. We need to take our power back folks!

It is time to turn our government 'inside out'! The 'new' blood will learn from this. Think about it...does our current politicians care what WE think? X( They have voted in many rules and regulations (laws) to protect themselves. "IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE"!!!! The Peoples revolution! :ymapplause: I want the "We the People" back...and it mean something. They work for US, not we THEM. They have lost that concept long ago. Time to take it back! Time to vote the "fixtures" out! Change the wallpaper. Ya with me?

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.
