Made in the U.S.A. - One Adair County family's patriotic plan
This Christmas, and for all their shopping, Tiffany, Eddie, and Kasey Blue Kessler will buy American, buy locally, every chance they get. By patronizing U.S. businesses and craftsmen we can not only inject money into our own economy, but provide jobs for fellow Americans!'

Everyone knows the U.S. economy is struggling - it's time we as Americans pull together and take advantage of our own resources.
My family and I have made the commitment to have a "Made in USA" Christmas 2011.
As Americans it is hard to sit back and watch our great country founder, makes one feel helpless. This is just a tiny thing that could really impact our country if more people would think about what they are spending their dollars on. We must take advantage of our own resources. And I loved David Simpson's idea. (One-three-one hundred to boost the Adair County economy) Here's how our plan works - Any money we spend this holiday for gifts, decorations, cards, etc HAS to be American made.
We can buy a new American made product, purchase gift cards to local restaurants - keeping folks in a job - buy vintage/antique items (repurposing AND supporting a business), or purchase/make something handmade (ourselves, local artists, Etsy, etc).
By patronizing U.S. businesses and craftsmen we can not only inject money into our own economy, but provide jobs for fellow Americans!
We are asking our fellow Americans to join us and also make the commitment to have a "Made in USA" Christmas!
You can follow my family's journey on my blog, Red, White, and Blue Life.com and on our Facebook page "Made in USA Christmas 2011" where we post great American product gift ideas!
There're only 130 days until Christmas!
Just had to share this - Thank you so much!

more need to get on board!
Buy American, the job you save just might be your own.
