Last year I went with the cheaper stuff and when I checked it at this cold it was slushy as far as I remember but this stuff is almost solid. I can smush it and it does not look like it expanded any but that kinda freaked me out this am at 6 degrees since the same solution is in the engine block... This year I used the more expensive dow as it boast -50 burst protection etc and has the rust inhibitors but next year if I still have a engine block I think I might mix some of the cheap stuff in with it... :-/ Anyone else ever tested their Boat Antifreeze?
I had checked it the other day at 20 degrees and it was all liquid...

I decided that vid made it look a little worse than what it was so here is another about 30 minutes later . (it had warmed up three degrees to 9 degrees but I don't think that should matter much) I just wanted to show it can be crushed and squished

I didn't watch the video but I think the stuff gets slushy....I have seen it that way in the jug.
