Marine Assist

6-25 Storm damage: As of this posting the severe thunderstorm has passed leaving some marina damage. Jamestown Marina has had the front row of houseboats pushed by the wind out toward the main lake on the east side, breaking anchor cables on the way. Lots of debris reported in the water, like chairs, cushions, tops, etc. There is still electric on the front row but no water. State Dock has reported "significant damage", but it is too dark to see the current condition. At least one rental houseboat was reported broken free of the dock and headed toward the main lake. Daylight will show how bad the damage really is. As of now there are no injuries I have heard of.

State Dock reports their water is off, no power to 100, 200, and some of 300 row.

Waterwings reports he has heard of damage at Conley and other marinas as well.

I know DJ said there was no hull damage, but those pictures shows that perhaps there was some other damage to other parts of the HB's. Looks like they had a good one there last night.

Wonder if DuoCounty will give us a time lapse. (might not be able to see anything since I am guessing most of it happened after dark)

State Dock

The crew is working on the water still. Power is mostly restored, with a few slips experiencing power issues. more info to come.

That sucks! He does have a lot of stuff on the top decks of that boat. It is an extremely nice boat.

Wolf Creek Marina, Lake Cumberland

Sorry to hear that State Dock and others suffered some damage in last night's storm. WCM was fortunate; power was restored this morning and the tree down across Island Ramp Road was cleaned up overnight. Hoping for calmer weather the rest of the season!
