You are cordially invited to attend a public “Town Hall” meeting sponsored by the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. The meeting schedules and locations are attached.

One of our primary goals in the Department’s Five Year Strategic Plan is to strive toward a “more informed and involved public”. These meetings represent another way in which the Commission and KDFWR are able to improve public understanding of conservation and stewardship for our natural resources. The Department hopes to increase public awareness of programs and opportunities, and enlist support and customer involvement in fish and wildlife management.

In addition to your District Commission Member, Commissioner Jon Gassett along with his Executive Staff will be attending these meetings to provide updates, answer questions, and discuss issues of interest to hunters, anglers, trappers, boaters and other wildlife/outdoor enthusiasts.

We hope to see you at the meeting closest to you.
