I think they use this same image name for the forecast so this page could be used whenever you want a quick link to the LEX18 weather. Just come to this thread and refresh your page...

I bet this would be a good link for a cell phone to get quick current images.

Re: Central Kentucky Weather
By the way you can also watch their newscast LIVE by going to this link http://www.lex18.com/pages/lex18-live-stream
I figured this would be great for those of you on the lake with no TV but have internet access. I have even streamed it via my Verizon wireless broadband from the boat while on the lake.
It only works while they are broadcasting news.
I think the mornings are 5:30-7am
Afternoon 12-1PM
Maybe 4PM
Then I think 5:30-6:30PM but I know at 6PM.
Maybe at 7PM
and then 11PM

Re: Central Kentucky Weather
Adding Accuweather to this thread. (just a pointer for some of you most browsers let you set multiple home pages. When I open internet exploder on my laptop it opens, Facebook, LakeCumberlandBoaters Active Topics, Yahoo Mail, Yahoo, LakeCumberland Todays Posts, my bank, and this page. That way I always have a current doppler view of the radar (sometimes you have to hit refresh depening on your browser settings) and a forecast.
To get this thread a little more lake accurate I am adding in this post some accuweather info, I am basing it from Monticello since it will cover most of the lake.
http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/montic ... ast/333301
http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/montic ... her/333301
They don't present anything in jpg format or I would link the info like I did from LEX18. Maybe one day they will.

Cool, a boating forecast from Lex18. not updated as often as one would like but still neat http://www.lex18.com/pages/lake-forecast/
