New price $12,000 including $4000 slip at State Dock paid through April 1, 2011. I also put it on craigslist. I'm calling it the "handyman special" because it does need a little TLC. But it still runs great and will make someone a nice cruiser.

TTT, this is a great boat. I remember the first time I got to tour it I could not believe how much room there was below deck. It was like going down stairs into a living room. with more rooms on both ends.

Thanks E. Most people are shocked when they see how much room there is down under. I've enjoyed it. But as Faster said, it's time for a loud a$$ go fast and I finally got the green light from the better half. .

That was the true test to how solid this boat it. I think the props were out of the water that day.

I'm sure there's a few (but only a few
) that will let you stow away on their boats until you find a new one.

___ 22,
One piece of advice that I didn't see mentioned in this thread:
Before you make any commitments towards the purchase of a "Go Fast" boat, make double sure that your insurance agent is willing to insure you once you buy it. Also, after you buy it and get insurance on it, make sure that your insurance agent is aware of any modifications (power upgrades) that you have had performed on your engine.
If you need any marine insurance "horror stories" to verify the above advice, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the advice. But that's what I do for a living so my agent is.... me.
Some cats are hard to insure but I don't plan on going that route so I should be ok.

Glad to hear that you are on top of that.
If you go with a V-bottom, such as a Baja, you should be allright.
However, for anyone interested in pursuing a smaller "Cat" (less than 36'), or an even smaller modified tunnel boat such as STV, Mirage, Cougar, Eliminator, etc., I have found that it is getting dang near impossible to get insurance. I was fortunate to get my insurance agent to "go to bat" for me with the company that he represents, due to the fact that I had been with them for so long, had multiple policies, and no claims.
The owner of The Boating Center in Crestwood recently told me that he had taken an Eliminator in trade for one of his new boats, but was unable to sell it, because no one could qualify for the insurance.
Take care.

Just here, Craigslist, and word of mouth. I don't even have a sign on it.
I've had 2 lookers but nothing serious. I plan on getting some pics for boat trader mag and also put some signs on it this weekend. So it's probably my own fault I still own it. I haven't advertised the way I should. But I hope to change that as I would like to have it sold before the end of the season.

Thanks. If I was at all computer savy I'd put an ad with pics on there. I do keep an eye on that site to see what my boat is bringing. It seems to be all over the board but I like where I'm at.
I definately have it priced to sell.
