Boat Property Tax Value, I JUST SAVED CLOSE TO $100!

Post by E_ »

The other day I got my tax bill from Pulaski county for my boat and decided to go to nada.com's site to check its value there against what was on the card. There I found NADA had it listed at $6500 less than what was on the card. I took a copy of the card and a copy of the boat value on the NADA site and e-mailed it to the County Clerks office and the next day got a e-mail back stating they had revalued my boat to the new value and adjusted my tax bill. WOW!

Not only great customer service from a govt. office but also GREAT news.

If yours has not been paid yet you may want to check it out. ;)

That's good news, E. We have done that before in Clinton County but there you don't have to take anything in - jist name your price! Guess they might check if you were ridiculous about the amount but I honestly think they are just happy to have the revenue. There are so many boats in the area which do not pay....but that's another topic!
