Land Hazards aka Water Hazards
Ok all,
With the accident reports from this past weekend, one thing that came to mind is now that we are back to normal lake operation some may not be aware of how the lake may start the season at 723 but then by mid season by more near 710 and then go down to 700 or even 690 into the winter.
This means right about this time of year spots that were 10' under water like the cut through on the way to 76 falls, part of the island spots north east of the mouth of Beaver/Otter creek, etc. are either now above water OR dangerously just inches below the surface.
BE Vigilant when out at night and stay away from these types of areas. Be aware also when taking our normal routes.
Areas I can think of that as the lake drops you can find land where it previously was not showing:
Cut through at 76 Falls - https://www.google.com/maps/place/36%C2 ... !1s0x0:0x0
76 falls - if you jumped earlier in the year (DANGEROUS) please as the level drops don't! its not that deep there!

Boulders start to appear up the South Fork - https://www.google.com/maps/place/36%C2 ... !1s0x0:0x0
Most creeks starting getting more narrow and shorter especially on the north side of the lake and the east end.
Trees that grew during the draw down that were further under water could now be pongee sticks or prop eaters.
Be safe and have fun. Feel free to share other later into the season hazards...
