Karoake at State Dock
This friday, karaoke at State. It's free, no prizes, just plain good fun.
___ may even show for his Beatles song. Ya'll don't want to miss that.
DJ usually starts about 10:00 real time and it usually runs pretty late if the crowd holds out.

I WILL be there. My ETA is 4pm Friday so I might be numb by the time this gets going but I wouldn't miss it.

MIGHT be numb? When are you NOT numb? Are we going to have to send Chillin down with a dock cart to fetch you ?
Re: Karoake at State Dock
Nah I'll just jump on the hog http://www.scooterguru.com/extreme-scooters/x-250.html and take a slow cruise. I got the red one of course. But Chillin has the pink one on order and he can't wait.Nearly wrote:_____ wrote:I WILL be there. My ETA is 4pm Friday so I might be numb by the time this gets going but I wouldn't miss it.

Let's see is that one right, another right, then left? Or is right, left, right, right? Oh wait, depends on which way your pointed when you jump on the hog.. Left requires pontoon float accessory, right requires slow jog to the left, pass three rights, then sharp right before running off the end of the dock towards Beaver Dog One, sharp left, then sharp right at workout / restrooms, sharp left and the action is dead ahead.
Will you be able to remember these directions by 10:00 ? ? ?

Re: Karoake at State Dock
Piece of cake. I could do that blindfolded. But odds are I will already be up that direction way before 10. You know, while it's still daylight and all. I'll worry about getting back later.

OK. I'll print out some return directions for you and slip them into your pocket.
Re: Karoake at State Dock
Thanks buddy. I knew I could count on ya.
And yes Chillin got all the available options, right down to the pink wheels painted to match. That's why his is taking longer to deliver. They also had to special order the PeeWee Herman horn and the pink neon lights. But I assure you, he is very excited.

the pink neon on the undercarriage is what is taking so long. The neon is on back order. I am really looking forward to getting my scooter though. The chicks are going to dig it.

Yes, I am. But couldn't pass up the deal. My dock neighbor is a dealer and since I don't plan on being this far out for more than a yr, I said what the hell. $180 brand new with warranty. And this weekend I rigged it so I could tow my dock cart with all my b.....stuff.

Either way, I think who ever took that photo was "drunk". The guy on the left was way out of focus.
(ahem, quote from Saturday. "I must be drunk cause I see two of you"
Re: Karoake at State Dock
Nearly, you are mistaken on that quote! It was "You must be drunk b/c I see two of you!"
