Hear that Nervous? Denmark if you know anyone can you get them to put a webcam in? It would be very inexpensive, good for tourism, AND FOR RAMP USERS it would provide some form of security. THey could mount it at the top of the lot and capture the lake, ramp/s (s when the water is back up) and the parking area or at least 60% of it.
Either way great news Denmark! I love that Ramp. Just not the no wakes zones to get to the main lake.

The KDFWR site says there's a couresty dock already there... Obviously they are wrong... I went down there last weekend to use the ramp, but when you're by yourself a dock is a must. I used Ally II again. It is a little tricky with the high water and the prevailing winds this time of year, but it beats the drive to J-Town...

I talked to the county Judge Exec over the weekend at a Christmas Party for my wife's work. I asked about the dock and who he was going to have maintain it, as far as lake level adjustments, etc. He thinks the jail inmates they use on the road crews can keep a handle on it. He also assumes it will not be in use for the winter, but that may change. It sounded to me like they planned on it only being a seasonal courtesy dock.

This past fall/early winter I saw some guys from Alligator II there retying the dock in place and they told me they were doing it for the county. I guess that is no longer the arrangement?
